A dust storm sweeps most regions of Iraq

The Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre - University of Anbar announced the possibility of a dust storm that will form in the coming hours, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mekhlif, a climate expert in the Natural Resources Development Department at the Center, said that as a result of drought and lack of rain in a wide range of the region and due to the crossing of the polar cold air front, a dust storm formed from the south of Hasaka in Syria and the north-western parts of Iraq, as its impact may reach between medium and light central and southern sections of the country.
