First aid in laboratories

Within the activities of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research / Human Resources Development Department, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center in the Presidency of the University of Anbar and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, the free training course tagged: (First aid in laboratories), which lasted for three days for the period 26-28/1/2025, was concluded on Tuesday, 28/1/2025. Within the activities of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research / Human Resources Development Department, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center in the Presidency of the University of Anbar and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, the free training course tagged: (First aid in laboratories), which lasted for three days for the period 26-28/1/2025, was concluded on Tuesday, 28/1/2025.

The following individuals lectured in the course:

·        Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel

·        Instructor Dr. Ahmed Taha Yasseen.

·        Assistant Instructor Ahmed Ashour Inad.

The course included several dialogues prepared by the assistant Instructor Ahmed Ashour, and shared by the instructors in the course, the most important of which were:

·        An introductory introduction to first aid.

·        Identification of the immediate ambulance number.

·        Components of the ambulance bag.

·        How to deal with emergency cases such as: (bites and bites, wounds, bruises, scratches, fractures, joint sprains, burns, cases of suffocation, eye injuries, fainting, head, neck and back injuries, nosebleeds, poisoning and convulsions, in addition to fever, which is a rise in temperature).

The course witnessed the presence of the center's researchers and a number of faculty and researchers from colleges and research centers at the university, which included some questions and discussions in different axes on the topics that were raised, and finally the course concluded with a test for all participants.
