Satellite forecast for the expected weather
2025-02-01
The Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at the University of Anbar announced satellite forecasts for the expected weather for the coming days, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mekhlif, a climate expert at the center, said that Iraq and the eastern Mediterranean region are still under the control of air altitudes, at the pressure level of 500 millibars, Iraq and the surrounding area are under the control of dents, which indicates a state of atmospheric stability, and the weather remains sunny during the day and greenhouse, but during the night temperatures drop as a result of For the clarity of the sky, which enhances the increase in losses in the earth's radiation, as well as a decrease in the level of air humidity, and the atmosphere remains stable until Wednesday, it is expected to observe an air depression where the first forecasts indicate a level of effectiveness (weak - medium) on Iraq and its focus on the northern region of the country.
Expected temperatures during the next 4 days:
Northern region:
Minimum: 0 – 4 0C.
Maximum: 10 – 16 0C.
Western Region:
Minimum: 3 - 6 0C.
Maximum: 13 – 17 0C.
Central Region:
Minimum: 6 - 10 0C.
Maximum: 15 – 20 0C.
Southern Region:
Minimum: 8 - 13 0C.
Maximum: 20 – 23 0C.
Wind condition:
Wind direction: It is south to southeast, which enhances warmth in Iraq during the day.
Wind speed: moderate winds throughout the country hopefully - except on Wednesday - are expected to be active in the direction of the south of the country to reach 50 km / h in Basra.
Air humidity:
Humidity level in the northern region 50-60%.
Humidity level in the western region 55-65%.
Humidity level in the central region 40-55%.
Humidity level in the southern region 35-45%.
In this atmosphere, farmers are advised to support their crops with irrigation during the day, and avoid irrigating them at night as a result of low temperature - as well as the far southern regions be careful not to irrigate crops with the expected wind activity for Wednesday hopefully so as not to break the delicate parts of the plant and not have a negative impact on its growth.
