Planning and Databases Department holds a seminar on the importance of databases

The Planning and Databases Department in its new form held a scientific seminar on the importance of databases and their great role in planning, on Tuesday, 28/1/2025, at the central hall of the Center, where data and information play a fundamental and pivotal role for decision-makers in developed and developing countries, the validity of decisions depends on the validity of the information on which it is built and is as correct as the validity and reliability of the information and wrong as much as the error in it, as well as that whenever information is available to decision-makers Correct and accurate, the decision is closer to the right and correct, and vice versa, the first challenge remains for the purpose of studying any scientific research or any scientific problem is the availability of reliable data.

The seminar was moderated by the Head of the Planning and Databases Department at the Center, Dr. Atheer Salim Al-Mawla, and the teacher, Dr. Salam Mahmoud Al-Ani. Where the most important data available in the department and the mechanism used in archiving them were presented.
