Free scientific course on the formation and analysis of water flows

The Human Resources Development Department at the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the Presidency of the University of Anbar, held the course tagged: "The effect of rain on the formation of water flows and their analysis according to the digital height model for the derivation of the water network in the GIS program))", which was held on Tuesday, 4/5/2025, and lasted for three days, on the main hall of the center.

The course was attended by (Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mekhlef), (Assistant Professor Dr. Amir Muhammad Khalaf) and (Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Saud Muhammad), which included the definition of rain and its effects on the formation of water flows from a climatic point of view and the formation of water flows, especially in deserts in terms of morphology, in addition to drawing it using a digital height model technique to derive the water network according to the GIS program. The course concluded with a quiz on the topics presented in the course to all participants.
