The session included a discussion of the latest scientific methods for the safe use of pesticides and ways to reduce their environmental risks, in line with the requirements for achieving environmental sustainability.
The session was attended by a number of college members, researchers, and other interested parties, and provided an opportunity for dialogue and the exchange of views on best practices in pesticide management and the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices.
At the conclusion of the session, the importance of raising environmental awareness and adopting modern scientific methodologies that contribute to reducing the negative impacts of pesticides, and thus support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, was emphasized.
