Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research (Fourth Session)

By the grace of Allah Almighty, the periodic meeting (fourth session) of the Board of Directors of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at the University of Anbar for the academic year 2025-2026 was held, chaired by the Director of the Center, Professor Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, and attended by the members of the Board of Directors, on Sunday, April 26, 2026, in the meeting hall at the Center.

The agenda of the fourth session of the Board included several topics, the most important of which were:

1. Preparations for the Third International Scientific Conference on Water, March 23-24, 2027.
2. Requirements for establishing a scientific journal for the Center, either independently or in partnership with another entity.
3. Establishing a mechanism for selecting the three most distinguished researchers from the Center for each academic year.
4. Developing a strategy for distributing the center's meteorological stations after obtaining the approval of the esteemed University President. (Al-Rahaliya – Al-Nukhaib).
5. Discussing several research projects (community service) and the feasibility of obtaining the necessary approvals for their implementation.
6. Discussing the research plan and progress rates.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Council commended the members' efforts, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving the center's objectives and serving University of Anbar and the local community.
