Weather forecast for the coming days

The Climate and Meteorology Department at the Upper Euphrates Centre for Sustainable Development Research – University of Anbar – has announced the expected weather conditions over the coming ten days, God willing. Assistant Professor Dr Ahmed Jassam Mukhlef, climate expert and satellite meteorology specialist, stated that Iraq and Anbar Governorate are expected to experience stable atmospheric conditions under the influence of an extension of the subtropical high-pressure system. This will result in clear skies and sustained high temperatures in the 40s (°C) throughout the forecast period.

This thermal pattern reflects the continued impact of a hot and dry air mass originating from the Arabian Peninsula.
