Water Bodies Investment Conference

Mr. Isam Mohammed Abdulhamee, Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center, participated in the conference held by the National Security Chancellor/ Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies/Department of Energy and Water, under the auspices of the General Company of The Tourist City in Habbaniyah in Anbar province. The conference has entitled: (Investment of internal Water Bodies) and held on Wednesday and Thursday 23-24- 06- 2021.
Dr. Isam recited a lecture on the water bodies of the water harvest dams in the Horan Valley, where he had previously chaired a number of advisory teams supervising some of those small dams.
During the conference sessions, many important things were discussed about the management of our water resources and ways of touristic investment in the water bodies, and prepared promising recommendations for the development of this field. It was agreed to include this topic as one of the subjects of the second international water conference planned to be held by our research center that will be supported by the Excellency Governor of Anbar province. At the end of the conference, the certificates of gratitude. The activation of the research cooperation agreement between our university and Al-Nahrain Center for Strategic Studies were discussed.
