Scientific committees

Given the distinctive scientific elements and expertise of the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center, and based on the approval of the University President on the meeting report (University of Anbar - Green Oasis) formed by the University Order at 2 June 2020, two heads of the departments of our research center were assigned to important scientific committees at the university.
The first of these committees assigned instructor Dr. Ahmed Saud Mohammed, head of the planning and databases department of the center, to be a member of a committee of specialists to produce digital maps of the campus, including soil classifications for the main university site and identify places that can be exploited in plant culture within the project, as well as preparing a detailed report for the green oasis project explaining the growth rates of green cover and treating the rise in the ground water level.
The second of these committees assigned teacher Dr. Muneer Naji Ahmed head of the department of natural resources in the center to be a member of a committee of specialists to provide a scientific study to treat gypsum soils (Gypsum soil management) at University of Anbar the main site.
