The First International Scientific Conference about Water

Under the slogan
(Towards a Strategic Vision for Water Management and Sustainable Development)
Under the patronage and presence of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Kussay Al-Suhail, and under the chairmanship of Dr. Khalid Batal Al-Najem, University of Anbar President, our research center held its first international scientific conference under the title: "Water Management between the challenges of reality and the requirements of sustainable development" in 18-20th March, 2019. On Haditha city in Anbar province.
The cooperation of all members of the administrative staff, the Center's staff, the Presidency of the University, and in coordination with the organizing committees of the conference, the conference achieved great success in the scientific and cultural levels concerning the attendance of officials from the central government and the local government of Anbar province, in addition to the number of researchers participating inside and outside Iraq whom took part in their modernist research to solve the water problems that our country exposed to.
The three-day conference included a number of cultural, scientific, and artistic events, as well as visits to Haditha Dam and tourist areas on the charming banks of Euphrates River in the city.
At the end of the conference, the researchers issued a number of recommendations that we all tried to achieve to serve our dear country and for all kinds of knowledge.
