Preparations for the launch of the waste treatment project and the production of compost and biogas

In implementation of the University's strategic plans in improving the environment and treating waste to reach a green sustainable environment and achieve the goals of sustainable development and Vision 2030, preparations are still underway for the launch of the waste treatment project and the production of compost and biogas, where preliminary studies of the project have been completed by the Renewable Energy Research Center and the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center. The environmental impact study was also completed to choose the appropriate site for this project and this report was approved, where the appropriate sites for the units of this project within the university site were determined based on this report in accordance with the international standard specifications adopted worldwide.
It is hoped that this project will start in the coming weeks; it is worth mentioning that the university includes professors and specialists in this field who have previously participated in the design and implementation of a number of treatment plants in addition to providing technical and engineering consultancy for many of the projects of these stations.
