Meeting of the Preparatory and Scientific Committee for the Second International Water Conference

As part of the preparations of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre (UEBDC) for the launch of the activities of the Second International Water Conference, which will be held on the occasion of World Water Day in March 2023, the preparatory and scientific committee of the conference held a meeting to discuss the preparations for the conference, in addition to the supporting bodies, and during the meeting, the topic of honorary invitations to influential scientific figures at the level of Iraq and the world and unions in disciplines related to the themes of the conference was discussed. Among the topics discussed in the meeting were the formation of supporting committees for the conference, such as the Scientific Publishing Committee, the Sessions Management Committee, the Electronic Support Committee, and the Hospitality and Protocol Committee, in addition to adding members to the preparatory and scientific committees, which will be submitted through an official record to the University Presidency for approval and approval to issue university orders. The meeting agreed to intensify efforts during the coming period to complete all preparations for the success of the conference.
