Rainfall depth recorded at the stations of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre


The Planning and Databases Department at the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre (UEBDC) at University of Anbar announced the rainfall depth recorded at the centre's stations for today, Thursday, 22-12-2022. Dr. Atheer Salim Al-Mawla, head of the weather station at the Centre on the campus of University of Anbar, announced that the amounts of rainfall recorded were (10.6 mm).

At the UEBDC’s weather station of the terminal station in Haditha, Engineer Juma Mohamed Ahmed said that the depth of rainfall recorded until ten o'clock in the morning reached to (3.3 mm) with the continuation of rain after ten o'clock. The station staff was ready to monitor any runoff in the region, with reference to preliminary information about the occurrence of flood rains in the area (Jabab valley) northwest of Haditha district, halfway between Haditha and Al-Qaim.
