A project for the processing and recycling of waste in Anbar Governorate

At an invitation of Anbar Governorate and in order to activate the memorandum of understanding between the University of Anbar and the province, the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre participated in the meeting held at the headquarters of Anbar Governorate to discuss the waste processing and recycling project in the province and ways to start and launch the project after completing its studies and designs, which is one of the Promising projects to support development, improve the environment and reduce pollution levels. The centre was represented in the meeting by Dr Muneer Naji Ahmed, Head of the Natural Resources Department, where the department had previously proposed more than one project in this direction and it was discussed in more than one workshop at the centre, the last of which was on 18-12-2022, and it was published on the centre's website in implementation of the directives of the university presidency in this field and in line with achieving the vision of the University of Anbar towards sustainable development 2030, where the center was contacted regarding it by the Energy ISO Committee in the province to discuss, complete and put it into practice and investment.
