Scientific and Research Cooperation

Within the strategy of the University of Anbar and the vision of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre to open up to local and international organizations concerned with water management and sustainable development, a team of researchers from our centre visited Al-Aghsan Foundation for Agricultural and Environmental Development to deliberate on opening horizons for cooperation and joint work in projects aimed at sustainable development of the Upper Euphrates Basin region.
The delegation included Prof. Dr. Essam Khudair Hamza, Prof. Dr. Isam Mohammed Abdulhameed, Dr. Ahmed Saud Mohamed and Dr. Ahmed Taha Yaseen, and was attended by Prof. Dr. Khaled Naji Al-Asal the Foundation manager, the Arab expert for palm horticulture studies, Prof. Dr. Abdul Basit Odah Ibrahim, former Dean of the College of Agriculture - University of Basra, and Eng. Duha Al-Falahi.
A number of projects that can be cooperated in preparing joint studies and obtaining international support for their implementation in the fields of climate change and agricultural and environmental development were discussed.
It is noticed that the above Foundation is one of the supporters of our first international scientific conference and continues to provide support for our second water conference thankfully, which will be held at the university site in the Haditha district for the period 15-16/3/2023.
