In continuation of the efforts of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre in highlighting the problems related to water resources management in Iraq and finding successful and efficient solutions to this problem directly related to society, the Second International Scientific Conference on Water was held under the slogan (Water between scarcity and sustainability), for the period 15-16/3/2023 in the city of Haditha, which was chosen as it embraces the largest water building on the Euphrates River, which provides great opportunities for researchers to see closely the problem of lack of water revenues and the need to rationalize consumption' in addition to viewing the data in the dam on water quality.
