Towards strengthening research cooperation with the industrial sector - Director of the Center attends a meeting with the Industrial Advisory Council

The Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, participated in the meeting held by Prof. Dr. (Mushtak Taleb Saleh Nada), President of University of Anbar, with the Industrial Advisory Council at the university, headed by His Excellency and the membership of the Scientific Assistant, the Administrative Assistant, the Deans of the Colleges of Engineering, Computer, Science and Agriculture, the official of the Community Service Unit and a representative of the government or private sector, in the presence of the Director of the Glass Laboratory, Eng. Hamed Mahmoud Kodi, and Sheikh Ayad Rashid Hamim, Managing Director of a series of private sector’s companies.
The meeting discussed a number of important areas in light of the directives oh there ministry of higher education and scientific research which focuses on the need for curricula add study plans to be in accordance with the requirements of the labor markets which makes the graduate students required in the labor market, digital skills, capabilities and competencies the enjoys.
Residence oh the university of Anbar also stressed on the activation oh research cooperation with the private sector and supporting by providing research that includes appropriate solution to the obstacles the face.
