Cooperative International Virtual Science Symposium

Through the participation of our research center (The Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center) in the third international scientific conference on sustainable engineering, which was held by the Technical Engineering College of Baghdad on 3/5/2020, we coordinated with both the College above and the Hashemite University in Jordan to hold an international scientific symposium on water resources management using GIS. The seminar was held on The Zoom program on Wednesday, 3/6/2020 and in the presence of about 100 researchers from various Iraqi and Jordanian universities and institutions, in which the three lectures from participating universities were given and mentioned in the accompanying symposium announcement. The symposium lasted two and a half hours, most of which were in extensive dialogues with specialized researchers. It was agreed in principle to hold an international scientific conference on the occasion of World Water Day 22/3/2021, in which our university and the two universities will contribute to the maintenance of scientific and research cooperation in the field of water and remote awareness between the universities concerned, and the symposium resulted in the formation of a committee to prepare recommendations and circulate them to the three universities within two days of the symposium.
