With the participation of the UEBDC, the renewable energy team in Anbar province holds its periodic meeting

Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre / University of Anbar, participated in the meeting of the renewable energy team in Anbar Governorate, and the Deputy Governor of Anbar for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Jassim Muhammad Abdullah, chaired the meeting, which included members of the Renewable Energy and Emission Reduction Support Team, who represent a number of concerned authorities and departments in the governorate, to discuss the themes included in the meeting platform, represented in the measures taken within the work plan for the year 2023, what has been implemented and the requirements needed to complete the rest of it, as well as discussing the program for 2024.
The University of Anbar is represented in the renewable energy support team, in addition to the Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre, the Director of the Renewable Energy Research Center at the university, which confirms the directives of the University Presidency in enhancing its societal role within its strategic plans and Vision 2030 to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
The meeting discussed the preparation of studies related to the directives of the higher authorities on some files, and emphasizing that the team's committees take their role in following up the work and projects implemented in this subject and submitting periodic reports to evaluate the work, in a way that ensures the smooth implementation of the transition plan towards the use of renewable energy and the adoption of international standards and specifications in processing and implementation, marking to ensure the success and efficiency of plans and experience for this use.
