The Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre - University of Anbar announced its weather forecast in the coming days with the beginning of the new academic year, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mekhlif, a climate expert in the Natural Resources Development Department at the Centre, stated that a relatively cold air mass coming from the north is working to reduce temperatures, as Iraq will witness, starting from Friday, 13/9/2024, a cold air mass that lowers the temperature, as follows: The northern and western region ranges (34-37) degrees Celsius; the central region has a maximum temperature of (38-40) degrees Celsius, while the southern region ranges from (41-44), and the stability of temperatures continues in this way for a week with a slight relative rise.
