Preparing rain and runoff measurement stations and enhancing databases with different samples of the Euphrates River water

In preparation for receiving the rainy season this year, a team of researchers from the terminal station in Haditha, affiliated to the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre at the University of Anbar, maintained and prepared stations measuring rain and runoff levels in the valleys of the western region, the most important of which were the valleys of (Horan, Hajlan and Zagdan).
On the other hand, and in order to enhance the various databases that the centre has continued to maintain in the past years, the same research team at the terminal station took water samples from different sites from the springs of Hajlan valleys for the purpose of analysis, collecting data on those samples and analysing them in the centre’s main laboratories at the university site. The research team included:

· Mr. Othman Abdulhamid Mahmoud.
· Mr. Bilal Moayad Abdul Rahim.
· Mr. Ghazwan Adel Abdul Wahid.
