Ambitious steps towards the revival of agriculture

At a time when our dear country and the whole world are invading a severe economic crisis that requires concerted efforts for overcoming it, The approval of the respected President of the University received about an economic project submitted by our research centre, where the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center took its role by initiating the submitting of an agricultural project for the areas of the Euphrates Basin, This project includes a field study of oases planted with pistachio trees, which field experiments have proven successful in these areas, Then come up with a scientific study that includes the nature of the plant and the factors that help its success in suggested oasis near the small dams in basin of upper Euphrates valleys and the development of economic feasibility to make it a strategic project that covers the market needs and solves the unemployment crisis and raise the country’s budget and revives agriculture for those areas.
