One of the researchers of our research center, Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Arshad Ali, published a scientific manuscript entitled " phytoremediation of Pb and Ni heavy metals found in soil using myrtus communism" in the Turkish journal (Eurasian Journal of Biosciences) in volume 14, issue1 of 2020. This journal is a member in Scopus database in the fourth quartile Q4 with an impact factor of 0.59.
The research deals with the ability of the myrtus communism plant to collect and accumulate heavy elements in the soil, especially Pb and Ni elements without damaging the plant or its physiological activity associated with the plant's ability to survive and grow.
