The volume of renewable energy (solar and wind) available according to the data of station of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research

Based on the center's plans and vision for achieving the sustainable development goals and the directives of the University of Anbar within its strategic plans to expand the use of renewable and clean energies, and continuing to provide important databases for researchers and graduate students, the Planning and Databases Department at the center, in cooperation with the Renewable Energy Research Center at the University of Anbar, issued data on renewable energy available according to the measurements and data available from the center's meteorological station within the university site in the city of Ramadi.
The data included the amount of solar and wind energy generated with illustrations according to the center's station data from radiation and solar energy, in addition to wind speed during the last month of February.
Assistant Professor Dr. Atheer Salim Al-Mawla, Head of the Meteorological Station at the Center, stated that the Planning and Database Department will continue to provide detailed information and data, making them accessible to researchers, graduate students, and other interested parties. This effort aims to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge by utilizing these energies, which represent the future of energy in Iraq and the world, and to achieve the vision of the Center and the University for 2030 in fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals.
