The Director of the Upper Euphrates Center represented the research centers in an official delegation to Malaysia

Professor Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, Director of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research, participated in the University of Anbar delegation to Malaysian universities, representing the research centers. The delegation was headed by Professor Dr. Mushtak Talib Al-Neda, President of the University, and included the colleges’ deans of Engineering, Education, Humanities, Islamic Sciences, Computer Science, Law, and Applied Sciences in Heet, the Assistant Dean of the College of Science for Administrative Affairs representing the College of Science, and a representative of the College of Administration and Economics, in addition to the Director of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research representing the research centers, the Head of the Cultural Relations Division, and the Director of the Global Classifications Unit.
The delegation's visit aims to activate the signed memoranda of understanding, in addition to signing new agreements. During the visit, a series of meetings were held with a number of deans of colleges, heads of departments, and directors of research centers at Malaysian universities. Several important points were agreed upon, such as: forming joint research teams to promote solid scientific publishing in various scientific and humanities disciplines, student exchange within the "Study in Iraq" program, and the visiting professor program, along with participating in organizing international conferences and workshops, exchanging experiences regarding innovation and patents, developing curricula, and increasing research and scientific cooperation with various research centers at Malaysian universities and Anbar University. The visit also emphasized the need for continuous direct communication with various researchers.
