· Dr Arkan Ali Mohammed – Anbar Directorate of Agriculture (Member)
· Instructor Abdul Nasser Thabet Muneer – Upper Euphrates Centre (Member)

· Engineer Sami Hussein Al-Hayani – Department of Forestry and Desertification Control (Member)
The scientific editing and final presentation of the study were overseen by Assistant Professor Dr Ahmed Saud Mohammed, under the supervision of Professor Dr Ammar Hatim Kamel.
The significance of this Study:
This research holds particular significance for several reasons:
1. It is among the few studies to directly address sustainable agricultural development in Al-Anbar Province. Previous research has largely focused on economic aspects, without exploring the mechanisms needed to achieve agricultural sustainability.
2. It offers a detailed insight into the agricultural and pastoral landscape of the province, identifying land locations, usage methods, and potential avenues for development.
3. It places sustainable development for the people of Al-Anbar at its heart, recognising them as the primary beneficiaries of agricultural, economic, and social progress.
The project has produced a scientifically rigorous map that pinpoints the most suitable lands for farming and grazing. This outcome is expected to enhance food security, support sustainable development goals, and assist decision-makers in formulating realistic strategies for improved resource management across the province.
