Iraqi Laboratory Quality Standards

Under the supervision and sponsorship of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Accreditation at the Presidency of the University of Anbar and under the follow-up of the official of the Laboratories Unit at the Centre, the internal course of laboratories was concluded on Tuesday, 6/6/2023 at the Center's headquarters, tagged: (Iraqi standards for laboratory quality), which lasted for three days, in which Assistant Professor Dr. (Muthanna Badie Farhan) gave lectures on this topic with the participation of the laboratory staff in the centre's laboratories.
The course dealt with the definition of the concept of standards, quality and the general and special foundations of the Iraqi standards for the quality of laboratories, and what are the most important main and secondary requirements to achieve these requirements, which start from the design and development of the laboratory until reaching the quality required for these laboratories, and reference was also made to the directions of each type of laboratory with its research, service and educational classifications, requirements and procedures that must be provided according to the direction of the laboratory. At the end of the course, a written exam was held for the participants.
