Extraction of plant extracts using the Soxhlet device

Under the supervision and sponsorship of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the Presidency of the University of Anbar and under the follow-up of the Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre, Prof. Dr. (Ammar Hatem Kamel), the internal course of laboratories was concluded on Tuesday, 20/6/2023 at the center's headquarters, tagged: (extraction of plant extracts using the Soxhlet device), which lasted three days, in which Assistant Professor Dr. (Nawfal Adnan Sabri) lectured.
The course included theoretical lectures and practical training, where at the beginning of the course it was identified how to prepare the extract and prepare it for the extraction process in the extraction device succolite, and then identify the parts of the saxolet device, and what is the importance of each of those parts during the extraction process, as well as clarifying the most important notes that must be taken into account when placing the sample in the extraction bottle of the device, and the course included practical training on the device, which is located in one of the centre's laboratories in all its parts.
At the end of the course, a written exam was held for the participants.
