A training course entitled (Health and Occupational Peace in Engineering Laboratories)

Within the activities of the Upper Euphrates Centre for Sustainable Development Research / Human Resources Development Department, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Centre at the Presidency of the University of Anbar and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Centre, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, the free training course tagged: (Health and Occupational Peace in Engineering Laboratories), which lasted for three days for the period 29-31/12/2024, was concluded on Tuesday, 31/12/2024, at the main hall of the centre.
Assistant Instructor Ahmed Ashour Al-Faouri lectured at the course, in which he gave a detailed explanation about the health and occupational safety to be worked in engineering laboratories, the most important themes of the course are as follows:
1- The emergence of occupational safety and health.
2- Legislative development of occupational safety and health.
3- The concept of occupational safety and health.
4- Objectives of occupational safety and health.
5- Types of risks at work.
6- Occupational safety and health rules and instructions.
7- Benefits of applying occupational safety and health.
8- Ergonomics.
9- Personal prevention.
10- Fire extinguishers and their types.
11- Signs and guidance.
12- How to prevent accidents.
13- Labour laws and compensation.
14- The purpose of classifying laws.
In light of the above presentation of these themes, a written exam was conducted for the attendees on the third day of the course.
