The volume of renewable energy (solar and wind) available according to the data of the Upper Euphrates Centre for Research in Sustainable Development station

Based on the plans of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research / University of Anbar, and its vision for achieving sustainable development goals, and the directives of the University of Anbar within its strategic plans to expand the use of renewable and clean energies, and to continue to provide important databases for researchers and postgraduate students, The Planning and Databases Department at the Center, in cooperation with the Renewable Energy Research Centre at the University of Anbar, issued the data on renewable energy available according to the measurements and data available from the Centre’s meteorological station within the university site in the city of Ramadi.
The data included the amount of solar and wind energy generated with illustrations according to the centre’s radiation and solar energy station data, in addition to the wind speed during the month of December. Dr. Atheer Salim Al-Mawla, Meteorological Station Officer at the Centre, stated that the Planning and Databases Department will continue to provide information and detailed data and make them available to researchers, graduate students and those interested in contributing to the dissemination of knowledge using these energies, which represent the future of energy in Iraq and the world and to achieve the vision of the Center and the University 2030 to achieve the goals of sustainable development.
