Varying rainfall in Anbar cities


On Wednesday, 5/3/2025, the Department of Climate Meteorology at the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at University of Anbar recorded varying rainfall in several areas of Anbar Governorate, where the data recorded in the stations showed that the Rutba station witnessed the highest amount of rainfall of 25 mm, indicating heavy rain in the region.

In contrast, the terminal in Haditha recorded 3.5 mm, while the amount of rainfall in the Hit station was 4.2 mm. The Upper Euphrates Center station also recorded 0.2 mm, the lowest precipitation rate among the stations included in the report.
