The Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at the University of Anbar announced a state of atmospheric instability, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mekhlef, climate expert and official of the Climate Meteorological Laboratory, said through satellites that this situation will lead to a rush of a relatively cold air mass accompanied by a cold air groove in the upper layers of the atmosphere, and on the surface a cold air front that contributes to raising dust and a dust storm, as it is seen from the weather photos, as it is the beginning of its impact on the western region of Iraq is moving towards the south and southeast, and the northern region of Iraq is affected over time, and its impact may continue until Thursday, 15/5/2025, but in varying proportions.
