Direct exposure to sunlight warning for the day

The Department of Climate Meteorology at the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at University of Anbar announces a very dangerous warning of direct exposure to sunlight for today, Tuesday, 20/5/2025, in order to increase ultraviolet radiation levels.
Where the map of ultraviolet (UV) levels in Iraq and its surroundings appears, where the level of (UV) ranges in terms of radiation level, above it in the western part of Iraq (11-13), then the second band represented by the east of Rutba to the west of Ramadi and the south of the country at the level of (8-10), as well as the mountainous heights of Iraq, while the third band is less dangerous ranges between (5-8). There are expectations that the UV level, to the first level mentioned above, will increase by 11.
Therefore, residents in the risk zone (far west of Iraq) are advised to prevent them at noon because they pose a health risk, as they can cause sunburn, damage to the eyes, and increase the risk of skin cancer with continuous exposure.
