Weather Forecast for the Coming Days

The Meteorology Department at the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research – University of Anbar, announced its satellite weather forecast for the coming days. The forecast indicates stable spring weather in Ramadi with a gradual increase in temperature until mid-March, Allah willing. Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mukhlif, Head of Meteorology at the Center, stated that satellite monitoring and observations indicate the following:
Temperatures
- Maximum: Between 17–23°C during the period from March 3rd to 12th, with a gradual increase after the 7th, reaching 23°C on March 12th.
- Minimum temperatures: Between 6–12°C, with slight fluctuations, recording a low of 6°C on March 3rd and 6th, and a high of 12°C on March 8th.
General Trend
- Daytime: Relatively stable maximum temperatures around 20–22°C, indicating mild spring-like weather during the day.
- Nighttime: Nights remain relatively cool, especially at the beginning of the period, but with gradual improvement after March 7th.
The weather will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy, with no strong indications of precipitation during this period.
Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, enhancing the feeling of coolness, especially in the mornings.
Recommendations
- The weather is suitable for outdoor activities during the day, especially between 10 AM and 4 PM.
- It is advisable to wear warm clothing during the night and early morning hours due to the cooler minimum temperatures.
- Farmers can take advantage of the stable weather to continue irrigation and planting without the risk of sudden rain.
