Participation in a symposium on achieving sustainable development goals


Salah Sabbar Thmail, a researcher at the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center, participated in the ESCWA symposium held in collaboration with UNESCO from 9-11 May 2022 through the zoom platform. The aim of the symposium was to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals that the organization holds every year and in different countries, and this year's symposium was in Beirut, Lebanon.

The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for West Asia (ESCWA) is one of five regional committees under the mandate of the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

The symposium, which was held electronically, was attended by many researchers, academics and specialists in the field of sustainable development from around the world.
