Participation in the discussion of a doctoral thesis

Assistant Professor Dr. Muthanna Bade'e Farhan, one of the researchers of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre, participated in the public discussion of the doctoral thesis of the student (Omaima Zakir Mahmoud), Department of Life Sciences, College of Science, University of Anbar, on Sunday, 11/12/2022 at Jaber Bin Hayyan Hall for her thesis entitled: - ((Effect of culture conditions on the expression of biofilm genes among clinical isolates of epidermal staphylococcus)).

The study submitted by the student aims to know the genes of bacteria responsible for the pathogen of Staphylococcus epidermal bacteria and how biofilm is formed, how it was known and methods of diagnosis and treatment using antibiotics and anti bio-film antibiotics, and the inhibition rates of biofilm were measured by MCV and MTT methods, and the extent of biofilm formation was tested on living and non-living surfaces.

After extensive discussion by the members of the committee with the student on the subject of her thesis, her thesis was accepted, with success to the student and the discussionn committee.
