Panel discussion on the use of some chemical elements in improving plant properties

A panel discussion was held at the meeting room of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre / University of Anbar on the use of some chemical elements to improve the properties of plants and field crops in the cities of Upper Euphrates. Assistant Professor Dr. Nawfal Adnan Sabri from the Department of Natural Resources Development gave a presentation on the improvement of sesame crop properties in the city of Heet using boron element.
The presentation included the effect of adding this substance in different proportions and at different planting times on the most important properties of this important crop.
The panel discussion witnessed important interventions by the researchers and the attending professor, and came out with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the formation of a team from the Department of Natural Resources Development to follow up on the issue of entities through which the foundations of using the results of this type of research can be determined and licensed to market and apply it because of its direct importance on human life and the nature of its food and any potential effects on public health as part of the vision of the centre and the university to achieve sustainable development goals.
