The meeting of the scientific committee for the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre

With Allah's blessing, this day, Sunday, 11/6/2023, the second meeting of the Scientific Committee was held at our centre, headed by Prof. Dr. (Essam Khudair Hamza) and in the presence of members of the Scientific Committee, the meeting dealt with a number of issues within the committee's agenda, including reviewing the results of the approvals of the recommendations and proposals on what was included in the previous committee meeting and reviewing the final position on publishing the research of the Second International Scientific Conference on Water.

The agenda included a number of other issues, including expressing an opinion on the development of a number of scientific research laboratories and the development of a number of units: (continuing education - media - climate meteorology) in the centre, in addition to discussing mechanisms for exploiting and developing smart agriculture within the development of the research station, which is hoped to be officially established at the university site of the University of Anbar. The meeting also dealt with some proposals from one of the members of the committee related to smart sustainable cities, which directed the Chairman of the Committee to conduct a detailed panel discussion on this topic because of its importance in achieving sustainable development in several aspects.
