Researcher from Our Research Center participates in the Arab Round Table

            Researcher Salah Sabbar Thmail/ Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center participated in the 6^th Arab Round Table on Sustainable Consumption and Production, This meeting was held in cooperation between the Arab League, the United Nations environment and the Economic and Social Commission for West Asia. From 9-10 October 2019 in Cairo, Egypt, Engineer Salah Sabbar Thmail's research concerned the possibility of using debris resulting from war conflicts as materials in the construction of tiling layers and rid the environment of pollution and considers it environmentally friendly.

The meeting focused on implementing sustainable consumption and production at the national level, discussing the progress made in the Arab countries and seeking to achieve national goals and priorities within the framework of implementing the sustainable development goals, as well as involving the private and financial sector and exploring the potential of companies, among the region's multiple stakeholders.
