A delegation from the UEBDC / University of Anbar visits the Directorate of Environment in Anbar Governorate

In implementation of the directives of the Presidency of the University of Anbar to open up to the official and service departments in the province as part of its strategic plans to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Vision 2030, a delegation from the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre - University of Anbar visited the Directorate of Environment in Anbar Governorate, and met during the visit (Professor Engineer Qais Najeh), Director General of the Department of Environment in the province.
During the meeting, which took place at the Anbar Governorate Environment Directorate building in Ramadi, they discussed the prospects of scientific and research cooperation between the Centre and the Department of Environment in the field of studying and addressing environmental problems, climate change and everything related to sustainable development issues related to the environment, In addition to discussing the issue of environmental awareness and increasing environmental culture and awareness in the community by intensifying efforts and awareness activities such as posters, lectures and exhibitions on the subject of a sustainable green environment.
The meeting reviewed the most important projects, joint studies, cooperation in the field of research, field teams, exchange of information and data, and the use of laboratories, and the two sides agreed to intensify scientific efforts and increase cooperation between them in order to achieve Vision 2030 to achieve sustainable development goals.
The Centre’s delegation included (Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel), Director of the Center, (Assistant Professor Dr. Mounir Naji Ahmed), Head of the Natural Resources Development Department, (Assistant Professor Dr. Muthanna Badie Farhan), Head of the Laboratories Unit at the Centre, and (Assistant Professor Dr. Hala Arshad Ali), a researcher at the Centre and a specialist in the environment.
