Visit to Rawah District to complete the database series

In order to develop the comprehensive database of the districts of Anbar Governorate, prepare appropriate future scientific plans for it, complete the databases and collect information on government departments of local governments in all districts of the province, There was a visit by Mr. Abdul Nasser Thabet Mouneer, representative of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre at University of Anbar, to the Mayor of Rawah District, on Wednesday, 21/2/2024, where he was received by Engineer Khaled Waleed Al-Rawi, Mayor of the District, who showed the features of generosity, hospitality and friendliness typical of the people of Rawah.
The meeting also included an exchange of views that would develop the reality of the district and open aspects of cooperation between the mayor of Rawa district and the local government in it and the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre, and the mayor promised to provide all necessary facilities to complete the collection of data and submit it to the Centre’s researchers.
Based on this visit, the Director of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre and all the staff extend their thanks and gratitude to the Mayor of Rawah District and all the gentlemen in the district who expressed their readiness to provide all means of assistance in order to complete a database for this ancient city with its history and the scientific, political and social reputation of its people.
