The Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre holds a panel discussion entitled (Ramadan flashes on the sustainable development goals)


As part of the weekly series of activities of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre at the University of Anbar, the panel discussion (Ramadan flashes on the sustainable development goals) was held on Tuesday, 26/3/2024, in the discussion hall at the centre, and during the seminar, which was operated by the Head of the Human Resources Development Department, Assistant Professor Dr Omar Yasseen Neda, and Assistant Instructor Abdul Kareem Ali Abdullah, the values and purposes that characterize this holy month, part of which is reflected in the sustainable development goals, were reviewed. The link is on a fundamental aspect in the process of comprehensive development, which is the building of the human being, as there is no building until after it is built.

The lecture included several axes, the most important of which were:

1-    Ramadan achieves spiritual development.

2-    Ramadan achieves social development.

3-    Ramadan achieves equality.

4-    Ramadan achieves healthy development.

5-    Ramadan and cultural development.

6-    Ramadan and economic development.

7-    Ramadan and change.

8-    Ramadan and the realization of human values.

At the end of the seminar, which was attended by a number of teachers and researchers from the University of Anbar, the floor was opened for discussions, which enriched the value of the scientific material presented for discussion.
