Participation in a public scientific discussion committee at the College of Engineering

The Head of the Planning and Databases Department at the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre, Professor Dr. Ahmed Saud Muhammad, participated in the public scientific discussion of the master's thesis of the student (Maria Youssef Abboud), in the Department of Civil Engineering - College of Engineering - University of Anbar. On Tuesday, 5-9-2024, at Ibn Al-Haytham Hall at the College, for her thesis tagged: (Developing digital geotechnical map for Falluja City using GIS) (Developing the geotechnical map of the city of Fallujah using geographic information systems). The study submitted by the student aims to draw the geotechnical soil characteristics of the city of Fallujah and provide an electronic archive using the (GIS) program that can be referred to when needed soil data for the study area, reduce the time required for decision-making, and give a preliminary perception of the project before construction.
The discussion committee consisted of:

The discussion was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Amir Abdul Rahman Hilal, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and post Studies, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Ahmed, the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Tariq Noman, and a number of students of studies in the department. After extensive discussion of the student by the committee, the student passed successfully and with a grade of fulfilment.
