The finishing of the course (Iraq Population Census 2024 is a base for sustainable development)


In continuation of the series of scientific and training courses held by the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre / Human Resources Development Department and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Centre in the Presidency of the University of Anbar, in previous years, work was re-activated these courses, as the course tagged (Population Census in Iraq 2024 is a base for sustainable development) was concluded on Tuesday, 15/10/2024, on the main hall of the centre, which lasted for three days for the period 13-14/10/2024, under the supervision of the Director of the Center, Prof. Dr. Ammar Hatem Kamel, and follow-up Human Resources Development Department at the Centre.

The course was presented by (Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Jassam Mukhlif), (Assistant Professor Dr. Muneer Naji Ahmed) and (Instructor Dr. Ahmed Taha Yaseen), which included a talk about the instructions and concepts for counting the population and housing form in Iraq for the year 2024, which was one of its most important topics: (definition of the census, methods of implementing the census, and who are the population covered by the census from inside Iraq, in addition to a detailed explanation of the instructions for filling out the population and housing counting form).

The course witnessed the presence of the centre’s researchers and a number of lecturers and researchers from colleges and research centres at the university, and the course included some questions in different axes about how to fill out the population and housing counting form, which concluded with a test in the topics that were presented in the course for all participants.
