Scientific workshop entitled: (Linguistic significance and scientific miracles of the word water in the Holy Quran)

As part of the scientific program and the continuous activities held by the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre at the University of Anbar, the scientific workshop named: (linguistic significance and scientific miracles of the word water in the Holy Quran) was held at the central hall of the centre, on Tuesday, 19/11/2024, in the presence of a number of members and researchers of the centre.
The workshop was held with two lectures, the first: moderated by Prof. Dr. Isam Mohammed Abdulhameed, on (The Scientific Miracles of the Vocabulary of Water in the Holy Qur'an), and the most important thing he touched on:
- Water is essential for life.
- Water, the bizarre liquid.
- Water’s particle definition.
- Water or the earth.
- Water design based on the universe.
- The strange balance in the design of the universe.
- The role of man in water conservation and ecological balance.
The second lecture was moderated by Dr. Ahmed Taha Yaseen, on (the linguistic significance of the word water in the Holy Qur'an), and one of the most important topics that were touched on:
- Lexical significance (its definition and the Qur'anic verses that the word water indicated its lexicon).
- Semantic fields (defined with mention of the Qur'anic verses mentioned in particular).
- Lexical accompaniment (definition with mention of water classifications according to the linguistic accompaniment of the vocabulary that came with it, citing Quranic verses with mention of their interpretations).
At the end of the workshop, the floor was opened for discussion on the topics addressed by the lecturers, through which they talked about expanding the scope of work in studying such topics that increase the scientific knowledge of students and researchers, especially in the linguistic and miraculous aspect of the Holy Quran.
