Visit to the Center for Drug Addicts and Users in Anbar Governorate

In implementation of the strategic plan of the University of Anbar, and the plans of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research, in implementing the goals of sustainable development and human building, and within the framework of the center's relentless and serious endeavor to develop human capabilities. A research team from the Human Resources Development Department visited the Drug Addicts and Abuse Center in Anbar province.

During the visit, awareness and guidance lectures were given in self-building, human capacity development, reducing the phenomenon of drug abuse, finding effective solutions to treat addiction, and ways to immunize youth and society from this dangerous disease.

Where (Assistant Lecturer Abdul Karim Ali Abdullah), a researcher at the Upper Euphrates Center for Research on Sustainable Development and the imam and preacher of the residential neighborhood mosque at the university, gave an awareness lecture and instructions aimed at self-building and staying away from the wrong things that may cause individuals to deviate in the field of abuse and addiction, in addition to reminding of its legal sanctity, and staying away from bad people, who in turn may be one of the reasons for the start of abuse.
