Participation in an international scientific conference

The two researchers (Assistant Instructor Bilal Muayad Abdul Rahim) and (Instructor Dr. Emad Telfah Abdel Ghani), participated in the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at the University of Anbar, with a joint research in the Second International Conference on Agricultural Sciences, which was held by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad in cooperation with Al-Nosour University, which was entitled: (Smart and sustainable agriculture to achieve food security), for the period 9-10/4/2025, where the title of the research in which they participated was: Climate Change and Its Impact on the Cultivation of Crops (Cucumber, Eggplant, Okra) in Al-Ramadi District: An Applied Study.

The conference activities took place with the participation of a group of researchers and academics from inside and outside Iraq, as well as a number of specialists in the fields of agriculture, technology and the environment. Participants in the conference highlighted the importance of hydroponics as a solution to water shortages and a means to improve soil fertility, and research showed how modern methods contribute to increasing production using less space, and the results confirmed that agricultural technology is a key pillar for the development of societies and achieving comprehensive food security, especially in light of the current global challenges.
