Second Scientific Committee Meeting

Towards upgrading to the future of scientific sustainability in order to advance sustainable development within the vision, mission and objectives of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research at the University of Anbar, on Monday, 21/4/2025, the second meeting of the Scientific Committee of the Center was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Isam Muhammad Abdulhameed.
The meeting session dealt with many axes within the agenda of the Scientific Committee, and during the meeting, the new heads of departments in the center were hosted and welcomed at the beginning of the meeting, and the Chairman of the Scientific Committee urged everyone to scientific cooperation and promote the reality of the scientific departments in the center for the better and openness towards developing relations with other university institutions from colleges and research centers, as well as openness towards other institutions from outside the university in order to achieve the desired future in sustainable development, after that the committee continued The scientific discussion of the issues on its agenda, which included several axes, including discussing the research plan for the research teachers at the center, as well as discussing the titles and lecturers of courses, workshops and seminars that the center will hold in the next year 2025-2026, within its scientific activities.
A number of scientific activities were also discussed that a number of the center's researchers desire, such as marketing their research products, and on the other hand, towards consolidating the foundations of sustainable development, a number of scientific departments in the center proposed the development of quality laboratories that contribute to sober construction and achieve the center's goals in sustainable development. At the end of the meeting, the Scientific Committee, within the framework of its work, presented the appropriate scientific recommendations and proposals regarding all that was put forward in the agenda of the Scientific Committee.
