Awareness visit to Anbar Traffic Directorate


In implementation of the strategic plan of the University of Anbar, and the plans of the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research, in implementing the goals of sustainable development and human building, and within the framework of the center’s relentless and serious endeavor to develop human capabilities and develop functional cadres in the various sectors of the state. A research team from the Human Resources Development Department at the center visited the center of the General Traffic Directorate in Anbar province.

Assistant Lecturer Abdul Karim Ali Abdullah, a researcher at the Upper Euphrates Center for Sustainable Development Research and the imam and preacher of the residential neighborhood mosque at the university, and (Instructor Dr. Ahmed Taha Yassin), media and website officer at the center, gave an awareness lecture and instructions aimed at building community trust through the behavior of the traffic man, enhancing voluntary discipline among citizens, reducing violations and aggressive behaviors on the road, improving the citizen's mental image of the traffic man, and staying away from the wrong things that may It causes individuals to alienate members of the security services, by reminding them of legitimate matters, and staying away from all actions that offend and reduce the value of this important group and the effective element in building the country.

During the visit, awareness and guidance lectures were given on various topics, the most important of which were: the importance of the traffic man, the difference between authority and service, learning about the meaning of traffic etiquette, what are the characteristics of the typical traffic man, practical dealing skills, mentioning some successful international experiences of the art of dealing with citizens from countries of the world, identifying some motivating phrases in dealing and prohibited ones, and what are the results of high-end dealing, with the presentation of some positive pictures of the traffic man and some bad cases.

At the end of the visit, the staff of the General Traffic Directorate of officers and affiliates expressed all the expressions of thanks and appreciation to the visiting team, and this visit is not considered the last for the team, as there are other projects to visit various sectors in the state departments, and to present and present all topics that affect the lives of citizens and employees and raise awareness of them.
